CIAA files case against joint secy Shrestha

The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has arrested Narendra Man Shrestha, Joint Secretary at the Finance Ministry, on charges of abusing his authority and for amassing Rs 14.18 million when he was in different government positions.

The anti- graft body, Sunday, filed a charge sheet against him at the Special Court. In the case, Shrestha and his wife Rita Devi have been made defendants. nepalnews.com pd Aug 22 05
