UML activists arrested
Security forces arrested two cadres of CPN-UML in Hetauda on Wednesday to foil the mass meeting of the CPN UML slated for January 6, 2006.
Security forces arrested UML secretariat member and former vice-president of the district development committee Badri Lamsal and Madhav Timilsena, Makawanpur district chairman of Democratic Youth Association, fraternal organization of the party and confiscated all publicity materials.
Issuing a press statement, the district committee of the party deplored the incident and urged authorities to immediately stop such activities.
