Maoists took the 42 students and 6 teachers from Basuladevi Lower Secondary School in Sisneri VDC of the district to Ipa Panchakanya and instructed them about the Maoist doctrine.

“I never imagined that I would return home. It was difficult for me to sleep at night as the memory of my mother haunted me,” Friday’s Nepal Samacharpatra quoted Jyoti Poudel, one of the abductees. “They (Maoists) were polite to us but we were terrified,” another student was quoted as saying.

Worried parents and relatives of the abductees welcomed them happily with flowers and garlands, it is reported.

Meanwhile, Maoists on Thursday abducted hundreds of students from different secondary and higher secondary schools of far western Doti district to make them participate in their 'training.' nepalnews.com pd Jan 07 05
