Mother commits suicide along with daughters

A woman committed suicide in Kavre district along with her two daughters.

According to The Kantipur daily, 27 year old Rupa Pandey of Khanigaun village development committee 1, committed suicide along with her seven year old daughter Smriti and 13 month old Swikriti by jumping into the Roshi river in Kavre district.

Police found the dead bodies of Rupa and Smriti near the powerhouse in Khopasi and handed them over to family members after postmortem.

Rupa had been staying at her mother's home from Teej festival due to some dispute with her husband in Kathmandu. nepalnews.com pb Sep 21 05
