Boudha tames New Road, Mahabir beats Boys Union
Boudha FC tied New Road Team (NRT) 1-1 while Mahabir Club beat Boys Union Club (BUC) by a solitary goal at the ANFA Martyrs' Memorial "A" Division League football tournament matches played at Dasrath stadium today.
Yougal Kishor Rai drew the first blood for NRT in the 28th minute. Boudha FC leveled the score in the 30th minute off a free-kick. There were no more goals in the game, but it was Boudha that squandered plenty of scoring opportunities in the game.
In the other match, Mahabir succeeded in collecting the all important three points after outclassing BUC by a solitary goal with a goal from Suraj Thapa in the 45th minute. There were no goals in the 2nd half like in the previous game, and it was Mahabir Club that wasted many goal scoring chances.
