CAN Info Tech from January 9

The Computer Association of Nepal (CAN) is hosting the 12th CAN Info Tech Show beginning January 9.

The 2007 CAN Info Tech will embrace the slogan of "E-Nepal, New Nepal." The CAN has been hosting the annual exhibition of information technology since 1995.

The IT expo will run for six days till January 14 at the Birendra International Convention Center (BICC).

At a press meet organized to inform about the show, the CAN officials said that latest innovations in the IT sector will be showcased including software and hardware. According to the show coordinator CN Upadhyaya, products of renowned international companies will also be demonstrated through 162 stalls.

He informed that technologies like CCTV, economical laptops and new products of Microsoft will be the new attractions this year. He said international seminars on various themes related with IT development will also be held during the show.
