NRNs sign 11-point understanding with FNCCI
With the objective of cooperating with each other in areas of investment and business activities, the Non Resident Nepalis Association (NRNA) and the Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) have signed an 11-point understanding on Wednesday.
According to the understanding, the two organizations would cooperate with each other in promoting investment for development of Nepal, jointly hold world conference of NRNs, and help each other in boosting programs like "one village, one product," among others.
The understanding was signed by the association's president Dr. Upendra Mahato, on behalf of NRNA and president Chandi Raj Dhakal, on behalf of FNCCI.
Meanwhile, Dr. Mahato expressed hopes that the bill on NRNs, which is currently under discussion at the parliament, will soon be enacted. After the bill is enacted, the NRNs plan to set up a investment fund and attract investment from abroad. nepalnews.com sd Dec 07 06
