Maoists deny attacking NSU members in Chitwan
Maoists have denied the news reports that members of People's Liberation Army (PLA) were involved in a scuffle between the two student groups affiliated to the Maoists and the Nepal Congress in Rampur Campus, Chitwan a few days ago.
In a statement on Friday, Bibidh, the commander of the PLA third division in Jutpani, Chitwan, said the media should state proof of involvement of even one member of the PLA in the scuffle.
The Maoist commander also accused that unseen forces have been playing under the cover of media. "To write on any incident on the basis of the information given by one side and ignoring the other side is against the ethics of journalism," the statement reads. nepalnews.com ia Dec 22 06
