Nepali Army complete bridge construction

The Nepali Army has completed the construction of a bridge in Lamjung district recently, the Directorate of Public Relations of the Army headquarters said.

The 50 m long and 3.8 m wide bridge connects Beshi Shahar of Lamjung district with Chame of Manang district. The bridge can hold loads up to 24 tons.

After the completion of the bridge over the Khudi River, vehicles can now ply the 18 km road between Beshi Shahar and Chame. It took around two weeks to complete the construction of the bridge. nepalnews.com ia Dec 29 06
