Cold spell claims three in Rautahat

At least three persons have died due to severe cold in Rautahat district today.

The cold wave deaths were reported in Gadhau, Inaruwa Motiharuwa and Mudhwala VDCs, reports said.

Chheha Sahani of Daghak fainted on the road and died when he was on his way to Gaur, the district headquarters, while Ganaur Ram of Inaruwa Motiharuwa died in his house this morning, reports said. Laxmi Jaysawal of Mudhwala VDC also succumbed to the severe cold.

This is first incidence this winter when three cold wave deaths occurred in a single day.
