Five killed, 43 injured in a road accident

Five persons including three persons of a family were killed and 43 injured in a road accident in Kanchanpur district of far western Nepal on Tuesday morning.

According to radio reports, the ill-fated bus heading for Mahendranagar from Achham district of the far-western region met with an accident at Krishnapur area of Kanchanpur district this morning.

Four persons died on the spot while one person died while undergoing treatment in the Mahakali zonal hospital.

Three people of a family, Dhan Singh BK, Gauri BK and Bina BK were killed on the mishap.

The injured are undergoing treatment in the Mahakali zonal hospital. The condition of around 12 persons is serious.
