Karnali air chopper makes emergency landing

A helicopter belonging to the private sector, Karnali Air, made an emergency landing at Ji Gaon in Bankatuwa VDC in the mid-western district of Banke on Wednesday afternoon. All seven persons, including two crew members of the chopper, are safe safe, officials said.

According to reports, the chopper was carrying a sick person and other people from Simikot of Humla district to Nepalgunj in the mid-western region. The patient was later taken to a hospital in an ambulance.
