3 die; 13 injured in a road mishap

Three people were killed and 13 injured in a road mishap in Nawalparasi district of western Nepal on Wednesday evening.

The incident occurred when a microbus heading towards Kathmandu from Chitwan collided with a bus heading towards Kakadbhitta from Kathmandu collided at Jogimara area of Nawalparasi in the Prithivi Highway.

Two people died on the spot, while one another died while undergoing treatment at Bharatpur medical college.

One deceased has been identified as Ranadip Nepal of Divyanagar Chitwan, while the other two are to be identified.

Of the injured 13 people, one is undergoing treatment at Medicare Hospital Kathmandu, while the remaining 12 are undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Medical College.
