Seven killed, dozen injured in Bardiya road mishap

At least seven persons were killed and dozen others were injured when a minibus met with an accident at Deurali area in Bardiya district Thursday afternoon.

The Bhe-A-Ja 270 minibus en route to Surkhet from Nepalgunj skidded off the road and plunged into a ravine, killing seven persons on the spot, reports said. Excessive speed is said to be the reason behind the accident.

19 passengers were traveling in the ill-fated minibus.

The injured passengers have been taken to Nepalgunj for treatment. Condition of some of the injured passengers is said to be critical. nepalnews.com mk Nov 30 06
