A meeting of the talks teams of the government and the Maoists Thursday decided to dissolve the monitoring committee, which was formed on May 26.

The talks teams also thanked the committee for its work.

The 25-member monitoring committee led by Prof Dr Birendra Mishra was mandated to study violations of the ceasefire and submit reports to the government and the Maoists.
