Air Arabia to start flights to Nepal
Air Arabia, an airline company of United Arab Emirates (UAE) is shortly starting its air operations to Nepal.
According to joint-secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yagya Gautam, the Nepal government allowed Air Arabia to fly to Nepal as per the Air Service Agreement (ASA) signed between the government of Nepal and UAE.
The airline will begin its operations from Sharjah to Kathmandu after receiving flight schedules from the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN).
The airlines can fly to Kathmandu eight times a week from any point of UAE as per the existing ASA, reports quoted Gautam as saying.
The airline's operations on the Sharjah-Kathmandu sector will benefit many Nepali migrant workers working in UAE.
