Three killed, 40 injured in separate road mishap

At least three persons were killed and 40 others were injured in separate road accidents in Palpa and Kailali districts Saturday.

Two passengers died when a jeep carrying passengers collided with a truck on Siddhartha Highway in Madanpokhara VDC in Palpa district in the afternoon. The jeep en route to Tansen from Butwal collided head on with the truck at Tallo Dumre area.

Ten passengers who were injured in the accident have been undergoing treatment at the Mission Hospital in Palpa.

In yet another accident, one person died and 30 others injured when a tractor met with an accident in Kailali district this afternoon.
