Reappointment of judges would tarnish independence of judiciary, says CJ
Chief Justice Dilip Kumar Poudel has said that reappointment of judges would tarnish the image of independent judiciary.

"Such reappointment would hurt the image of independent judiciary even at the international level," Poudel told journalists just before he left for Manila, Philippines to attend the international judicial conference. He said the judges appointed as per the constitution should be allowed to continue.
Poudel has been repeatedly speaking out publicly against attempts to "reappoint" all judges. There have been moves reappointed all judges once the interim constitution is promulgated.
Some parliamentarians have even spoken about the need to re-administer oath to all judges, which the CJ has criticized. nepalnews.com sd Oct 16 06
