NA starts action against five army men

The Nepali Army has started action against five army personnel, stationed at the Chisapani barrack of Nepal Army in Bardiya district, for leaving the barracks without permission and involving in dispute with civilians.

A press release issued by the Directorate of Public Relations (DPR) of the NA stated that the five officials were involved in dispute with the locals after fleeing from the Barracks on Monday.

The statement further said two army men were seriously injured in the incident have been brought to the capital after primary treatment at Bheri Zonal Hospital.

Stating that investigation is on over the incident, the DPR said stern action would be taken the guilty after the investigation. nepalnews.com pb Oct 24 06
