Mukherjee's meeting with Koirala assumes high significance as it comes at a time when the ruling Seven Party Alliance (SPA) is preparing to hold crucial round of summit meeting with the Maoists. Sources say that the envoy informed PM Koirala that Indian government is willing to extend all kinds of help to support Nepal's peace process.
The peace talks had been stalled before Tihar festival on October 15 after the leaders could not reach understanding on issues like arms management and status of monarchy. nepalnews.com sd Oct 29 06
