Popular singer Ram Krishna Dhakal has agreed to provide royalty received from Japan from sale of his new CD album “Aagaman” to the children staying at the Astha Children Care Home.

A press release issued by the Astha Children Care Home said Dhakal agreed to the proposal of Japanese Mother Toshie Nakane to use the royalties for providing warm clothes to children staying at the Home.

60 children including the children of those killed during the decade long Maoist insurgency and injured during the popular movement of the country are staying at the House.

The children are getting education from Marvelous English Boarding School.

Similarly, the organization is bearing the admission fees, dress, monthly fees and educational materials to 180 children of low income earning family and labourers of Itahara, eastern town of Itahari.

Toshie Nakane had worked as a volunteer in the Home for a long time. nepalnews.com pb Oct 29 06
