American Ambassador to Nepal James F. Moriarty has left for New Delhi, Sunday for consultations with his Indian counterparts and officials at the India's External Affairs Ministry on current developments in Nepal.

"The Ambassador will meet his colleagues as well as officials at the Indian Foreign Ministry. He will be interested in knowing their views on Nepal," reports quoted a spokesperson at the American centre as saying.
America has been saying that Maoists should not be included into the interim government before they are disarmed and warned of stalling all assistance if they were inducted in the government with arms.
The US Ambassador's visit assumes high significance as the visit took place at a time when the summit talks between the government and Maoists are taking a decisive turn and both the parties are working to find consensus in the issues of arms management. nepalnews.com pb Oct 30 06
