Government forms task force on mishaps

The Ministry of Labour and Transport Management (MOLTM) has formed a task force to identify the causes of increasing road accidents in the country.

The task force headed by spokesperson at the MOLTM Uddhav Prasad Baskota has representatives of transport workers and entrepreneurs and police personnel as members.

The ministry has asked the task force to submit its report within 15 days.

The ministry formed the taskforce after a tragic road accident in Luham Bazaar in Tribeni village development committee of Salyan district on Saturday, which claimed lives of 42 people and left many more people injured.
