Three rhinos killed in two weeks
Poachers killed yet another rhino that had strayed into human settlement area from the Chitwan National Park by giving the animal electric shocks in the wee hours of Sunday.
The carcass of a rhino was found in Jagatpur village development committee 2 on Sunday morning.
This is the third rhino that has been killed within two weeks.
Poachers killed the rhino by planting electric wires at Jagatpur VDC-2 on the border of the national park.
The rhino was nearly 15 years old, said the source. Locals said they heard the caterwauling of the rhino at 3 am on Sunday.
One rhino was killed at Siswar of Dibyanagar village development committee -3 on October 26.
