30 passengers injured in separate road mishaps

At least 30 passengers were injured in two separate traffic accidents in Dhading and Makwanpur districts on Friday.

20 passengers were injured when a Sajha Yatayat bus heading for Baglung from Kathmandu collided with a tripper at Nau Kilo area on the Prithivi Highway in Dhading in the morning.

12 of the injured person are in critical condition, reports said. The injured passengers have been brought to Kathmandu for treatment.

Meanwhile, 10 passengers were injured when a Birgunj-Kathmandu bus collided with a truck on the Makwanpur-Manahari section of the Mahendra Highway this afternoon. The injured passengers have been undergoing treatment in local hospitals, reports said. nepalnews.com mk Sept 08 06
