Committee to rehabilitate freed Kamaiysa

The government has decided to form separate committees in various districts to take initiatives in rehabilitating freed Kamaiyas (bonded labourers).

Minister of State for Information and Communication, Dilendra Prasad Badu, who is also the government’s spokesperson informed tat a meeting of the Council of Ministers Monday decided to constitute separate committees under the coordination of District Development Committee presidents in Dang, Banke, Bardiya, Kailali and Kanchanpur districts.
