2 die, 5 injured in Kailali road mishap

Two persons have been killed and five others injured in a road accident in far-western Kailali district.

According to reports, the accident occurred when a truck bound for BP Nagar of Doti district from Kailali's Attariya met with an accident at Sahajpur VDC in Kailali district last night.

The deceased have been identified as Padam Thapa, of Dodhara VDC in Kanchanpur and Raju Gurung, 14, of the same area.

The injured persons Dhan Bahadur Thapa, Arjun Thapa, driver Shyam BK, Mahesh Nepali and Raju Sunar are undergoing treatment at Attariya-based Padma Hospital.
