Curfew in Inaruwa as locals clash with police
The district administration of Sunsari imposed six-hour curfew in Inaruwa Municipality from 1:00 pm Thursday after the locals clashed with the police.
The curfew order came after the local residents, who have been displaced by recent floods, protested against last evening's police action during their demonstration. 70 years old Kusmi Devi Sada died, reportedly due to police beating, while over 40 others were injured in the ensuing clash.
