Unidentified gang murders woman in Rautahat

In the latest example of growing lawlessness in the Terai plains, an unidentified gang murdered a woman in Rautahat district Thursday morning.

A gang of around 12 people shot dead one Saroja Devi Raut inside her house in Jethariya VDC-7 in the wee hours of the morning. Police said the gang might have come there to rob her house.

Nobody has been arrested in connection with the murder, but police said they had launched massive manhunt to track down the murderers.
