Biratnagar witnesses record rainfall
The eastern city of Biratnagar witnessed heaviest rainfall in the past one and a half decade, according to Kosi basin office.
The industrial town of the eastern Terai witnessed downpour of 223.5 mm in the past 24 hours.
There was heavy downpour the whole night, say reports. This has led to inundation of various villages nearby.
