Prachanda begins answering at plenum
As the fifth plenum of the Maoist party enters the fourth day, chairman Prachanda began to answer the queries raised by the party members.
Some 2,000 members participating in the fifth plenum, divided into 45 groups, discussed the political report presented by Prachanda in groups separately and presented their suggestions at the plenum on Sunday and Monday.
The plenum members, Prachanda, Dr Baburam Bhattarai and Ram Bahadur Thapa alias Badal will answer the numerous questions raised by party members today. Upon completion of the question-answer session, the plenum is expected to adopt the political report by Prachanda today with amendments.
The plenum is scheduled to conclude today.
The participants have criticised the party role in the coalition and pressurised the party leadership to immediate quit the government and go for a public revolt. nepalnews.com ia Aug 07 07
