Kul Chandra Gautam, Indian envoy meet Foreign Minister

Foreign Minister Sahana Pradhan held separate meetings with United Nations Assistant Secretary-General Kul Chandra Gautam and Indian ambassador to Nepal Shiv Shankar Mukherjee at the ministry on Friday.
The meeting between Gautam and the Foreign Minister focused on the peace process, operations of UN agencies in Nepal and the preparations for constituent assembly polls, it is learnt.
Gautam is in Kathmandu for some time on a personal visit.
Meanwhile, Indian ambassador Mukherjee met with Pradhan in Sheetal Niwas, discussing the current political situation in Nepal and the inundation problem in bordering Terai districts. Reports say the Bhutanese refugee issue also figured in the discussion.
