Communist Party of Nepal – United Marxist Leninist (CPN-UML) has urged all its activists living in India to return to the country for constituent assembly election and play an instrumental role in the victory of the party, Kantipur Daily reports
In a mass meeting of the party’s “leading” activists in New Delhi, Organizational Department chief Bishnu Poudel and Minister for Agriculture Chhabi Lal Biswokarma who is also the party’s “incharge” in India have also asked them to start a campaign to build the support for the party among all the Nepalese people living in India.
“We urge you to prepare to return to the country for the election, but before that we ask you to start a campaign to bring all Nepalese people living in India in favor of the party,” Poudel told Kantipur daily.
As per the party’s call, the pro CPN-UML Prawasi Nepali Sangha, an association of Nepalese people living in India, is all set to “mobilize” its activists all over India for the same. After wrapping up the campaign in India, the leading activists would return to the country one month prior to the constituent assembly election and would immediately engage in publicity campaigning for the party.
