Landslide kills five in Pyuthan
Reports from Pyuthan district in mid-western region say that at least five people, including four from the same family, died in a landslide on Friday afternoon. The status of other 12 persons remains unknown.
The landslide occurred in Arkha village, which touches the Baglung and Gulmi districts and is at a distance of one-day walk from the district headquarters of Pyuthan.
The family had shifted to the neighbour's cowshed after the landslide washed away their house on Thursday. The rain continues to pour in the area.
