2 schoolchildren die, 3 missing as boat capsizes on Rukum's Syafru Lake

Two schoolchildren died and three others have gone missing when a boat capsized on Syafru Lake in Bafikot, Rukum district, Sunday afternoon.

The boat, which was carrying 13 students of Saraswoti Lower Secondary School, sank on the lake due to overweight, reports quoting police said. The tragedy occurred at around 2:45 pm.

Dead bodies of Asmita Budha and Keshab Khadka have been recovered while three students are missing.
