Compensation to journalist
The Panchthar District Court has ordered the administration to provide Rs 35,000 as compensation to a local journalist who was detained and tortured during emergency period.
The court has concluded that Labadev Dhungana, editor of Panchthar Times, was unlawfully detained and tortured.
