Nepse Declines
The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index lost over 6 points this past week.
The only secondary share trading market in the country, transaction volume at the Nepse came down due to reduced trading of shares of commercial banks.
The commercial banks and financial institutions, which used to occupy over 70 percent of total transactions in the past, could contribute to only 55 percent of the total transaction volume this past week.
