Thirteen killed as bus plunges into Trishuli
Around thirteen passengers have been killed and 25 injured when a bus headed to Birgunj from Kathmandu plunged into Trishuli river in Prithvi highway.
The bus with the registration number Na 3 Kha 2141 fell down 150 feet below the road into the river near Kurintar, according to reports by Radio Nepal.
The accident occurred at around 1 am midnight at the Daharechowk VDC of Chitwan district.
The deceased have not been identified as yet. Ten of the injured persons have been admitted to a local polyclinic while others have been taken to hospitals in Bharatpur and Kathmandu, according to District Police Office of Chitwan.
