A press statement issued by the NUF said journalist Krishna Prasad Acharya, with human rights experience in Nepal, has been elected as the president of the organization and Deepak Raj Kafle as vice president.

Similarly, Shyam Raj Rijal and Arjun Karki have been selected as Secretary and Treasurer respectively.

Youth for Human Rights will form an international network based on educating people about the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
