South Korea to permit Nepali workers

South Korean government is providing opportunities to the Nepalese to work in its labour market.

Talking to journalists at the Tribhuvan International Airport on Saturday upon his arrival, Korean Labour Minister Lee Sang said that the Korean government is to provide opportunities for Nepalese to work in the country.

Minister Lee arrived in Nepal for consultation on 'Employment Permit System' in connection with Nepalese workers entry to Korea.

Lee also said that he was optimistic to reach a successful result after bilateral discussion to be held in Kathmandu on Sunday.

He also added that his country has honoured the Nepali workers.

South Korea has been providing work as trainees to the Nepalese so far. South Korea is a lucrative job market for Nepali foreign job seekers due to high pay scale. nepalnews.com pb Jan 28 07
