Give lesser budget to the King, says Mahara
Information and Communications Minister and government spokesperson Krishna Bahadur Mahara has said that the King should be given 'lesser budget than in the past.'
"We think that the King should not be given any budget at all. If that is not possible, then the budget should be very less," he told reporters in Butwal on Thursday.
Mahara promised to pass the Right to Information Act and Working Journalists Act within a month and vowed to implement them.
