Dr. Mahat said that the country will embrace the liberal and open market economic policies even after the elections of the Constituent Assembly (CA).

The Finance Minister said the government formed after the CA will create investment-friendly atmosphere.

Speaking at a programme organised by Nepal-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the capital, Saturday, Dr Mahat claimed that after the CA polls, the current situation of unrest will vanish. He urged the investors to come to the country.

At the same programme, German ambassador Franz Ring also urged the government to create conducive atmosphere for business and investment. Likewise, economist Dr. Shankar Sharma said productivity had declined by 30 percent of late due to bandhs, strikes, labour disputes and load-shedding. nepalnews.com sd Mar 18 07
