Miss Nepal contestants show their talents

The Hidden Treasure on Wednesday organised a talent show of the beauties contesting the Miss Nepal 2007 beauty pageant.

Salsa dance, speech on women's empowerment, beating drum solos, martial arts demonstration and poem recitation were some of the items the beauties performed to show their talents at the Russian Cultural centre.

Four of the 19 contestants spoke on serious issues like education and women empowerment, exodus of youth to foreign land for work, orphans and poverty. Poetry by Shweta Shah and salsa dance by Bandana Sharma received huge applause from the audience.
