Army chief briefs PM over security situation
In the wake of bloodbath in Gaur, Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) General Rookmangud Katawal has briefed Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala about the security situation in the country, Friday.
According to reports, the Prime Minister received information about the security situation of the country and activities of the security agencies from General Katawal.
At least 28 people were killed during a clash between activists of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum and Maoists in Gaur on Wednesday.
Prime Minister's security advisor was also present during the meeting between the Prime Minister and CoAS. nepalnews.com pb Mar 23 07
