RPP activist shot dead

Unidentified assailants shot dead Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) activist and former chairman of Sanhaitaha V.D.C, Siraha Thursday night after abducting from his residence the same night.

According to the police, former V.D.C chairman Rajeshwor Yadav, 45, and one another person named Ganesh were abducted by a group of armed men Thursday night while they were sleeping in their house. The group then took the two a little way from the house and fired two shots on Rajeshwor's temple, but amazingly set free Ganesh after beating him.
