Nepali journos in US to write statute of their association

The second meeting of the Nepal-America Journalists Association held recently in Baltimore has decided to write the statute of the association within six months and complete their legal registration process.

The meeting attended by its president Girish Pokhare, vice president Sushil Neupane, general secretary Krishna Sharma, treasurer Gunraj Luitel and members Parl Regmi and Sharmila Upreti also decided to form seven different committees in order to increase the association's efficiency.

Likewise, in order to prepare annual calendar of the association, the meeting has formed a committee. It also nominated four executive committee members – Manoj Acharya ( Maryland), Chandra Prasai (Texas), Hari Shiwakoti (Canada) and Surendra Chaudhary (Chicago) - and three advisors – Tara Baral, Krishna Kadel and Dr. Dharma Adhikari- according to press release by the association. npalnews.com May 30 07
