Nepal U-19 team leaves for Uzbekistan for AFC U-19 Championship
The Nepali U-19 National team has left for Uzbekistan Sunday to take part in the AFC U-19 Championship qualifiers starting from 6th November, 2007 at Tashkent.
ANFA President Ganesh Thapa and other officials bade farewell to the players and coaches amidst a programme at ANFA Complex, Satdobato.
Head Coach Raju Kaji Shakya said that he is quite confident of good results in the competition and qualifying for the final round would be their main agenda. "I and Megraj KC (another coach) are very hopeful of a good result", Shakya told reporters.
The players are:
Rupak Shrestha, Rabin Shrestha, Biraj Maharjan, Deepak Bhusal, Bikash Singh Karki, Roshan Karki, Ranjit Shrestha, Dipendra Shrestha, Chetan Ghimire, Bharat Khawas, Anil Ojha, Prabin Karki, Buddha Raj Limbu, Amar Subba, Anil Tamang, Pukar Bishawkarma, Swastik Basistha, Laxman Ruchal, Sandeep Thapa and Kiran Kumar Limbu.
