All Nepal final in 29th Governors Gold Cup

For the first time, two Nepali Clubs are playing in the finals of the prestigious 29th Governors Gold Cup Football Tournament in Gangtok, Sikkim with NRT and Nabil Three Star Club sidelining their respective opponents to achieve the feat.

NRT ousted gusty Nigerian Eagles 2-1 in a tense match. Anil Gurung and Khum Gurung scored apiece while Egowo Koa scored the consolation goal for the Nigerians. The match was tense for five minutes after the Nigerian team protested NRT's second goal saying the goal was clearly offside.

In the other match, Nabil Three Star Club registered a 2-0 victory over Punjab Police. Jumanu Rai struck both the goals for the Patan based Club.
