Nepalnews page views cross 100 million

Making its mark in the competitive world of online news, Nepalnews.com, Nepal’s pioneer news portal, has crossed 100 million page views.

Nepalnews' unique page views hit the 100 million mark on Monday (March 19), starting from 20th November 2000. This figure does not include the hits between August 1998, when the news portal was actually launched, and 19th of November 2000.

We at Nepalnews hold this feat as a responsibly to informing our viewers on a broad range of topics with objectiveness.  As our slogan goes “news as it happens”, Nepalnews has always attempted, and will do so, to maintain impartiality of news and editorial balance.

Nepalnews will endeavor towards adding more features in the days to come with emphasis on video and audio while a variety of different publications and newspapers, in Nepali and English, which are daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly and bi-monthly and radio and TV programmes will remain in place.

Nepalnews began hosting all the major daily publications, state run Gorkhapatra Corporation, private run Kantipur Publications and the Kamana Group. While these publication houses along with a few other weeklies have progressed on to host their own websites, Nepalnews will continue adding more publications on its website.
