Blast in Birgunj

A bomb exploded in Birgunj on Friday evening while two others were diffused by the security personnel.

A crude bomb exploded in front of Suresh Oil, a petrol pump, in Shripur area at around 9 pm on Friday. The explosion, however, did not cause any damage.

The Janatantrik Terai Mukti Morcha (JTMM-Jwala Singh) has claimed the responsibility for the blast.

Earlier on the day, army team had to be deployed to diffuse two bombs planted in the Kadambari school in Shripur area. nepalnews.com sd Sep 08 07
